Worker Disclosure

When you use MoonshotWhale, a background worker process may run in your browser and utilise a portion of your device's CPU resources. This worker supports the operational infrastructure of the Platform.

• The worker runs in your browser tab and stops when you close or navigate away
• You can pause the worker at any time from the settings panel (⚙ Worker button)
• CPU usage is throttleable — you can reduce it to as low as 10% of available resources
• You earn real dollars for each worker share completed
• The worker may increase your device's CPU temperature and electricity usage slightly

By logging into MoonshotWhale, you acknowledge and consent to this worker running during your session. You may revoke this at any time by pausing the worker or logging out.

Financial Risk Disclosure

Prediction markets involve financial risk. The value of your positions can go to zero. Past performance of other users or markets is not indicative of future results.

• You may lose some or all of the value of your positions
• Market prices are determined by user activity and may not reflect the true probability of outcomes
• Liquidity may vary — not all positions can be exited before resolution at a fair price
• MoonshotWhale does not provide financial or investment advice

How MoonshotWhale Makes Money

MoonshotWhale earns revenue through a small platform fee applied to resolved markets. This fee is deducted proportionally from winning positions. The current fee structure is disclosed on each market page before you place a position.

We do not earn revenue from the background worker — that revenue flows entirely to users as per-share earnings.

Market Resolution

Markets are resolved by the MoonshotWhale team based on the resolution source specified in each market's description. In the event of ambiguity, our resolution team will make a good-faith determination based on the most credible available evidence.

Resolution decisions are final. Users may submit a formal dispute within 48 hours of resolution by contacting [email protected].
